You are essential to spreading the word about the Fairgrounds, our people and our programs. We aim to offer you content that’s accurate, timely, relevant…and even interesting!
This media center is intended to offer you tools of your trade – the information and visuals you need to tell a story.
Every effort will be made to respond to media inquiries in an expeditious manner, with a general guideline as follows:
- 72-hour response time for general inquiries
- 4-hour response time during key District-sponsored events like the San Diego County Fair
- 1-hour response time in the event the facility is utilized for emergency response services
Members of the media are encouraged to contact the Fairgrounds’ media relations team first with any and all Fairgrounds-related inquiries. NOTE: Board members do not respond individually to media inquiries, but rather refer those inquiries to the media relations team.
