The Del Mar Fairgrounds offers more than 200,000 square feet of space, distributed in buildings ranging from 20,000–68,000 square feet. These multi-use facilities can be customized and decorated to hold a wide variety of social gatherings, business functions, musical events, and much more. The range of applications is only limited by our clients’ and event planners’ imagination!

The San Diego climate makes outdoor events possible year-round, and the Del Mar Fairgrounds offers many areas where your event can be held under blue skies or stars rather than ceilings. From our parking lots to the Paddock green, let your event planning take you out of the box!

The Del Mar Racetrack Grandstand is a six-story San Diego landmark—the focal point of thoroughbred racing every summer since 1937, as well as home to the San Diego County Fair’s Summer Concert Series. Rooms are available with private balconies overlooking colonial fountains, manicured gardens, and the brilliant Pacific coastline. They can be used for meeting space, green rooms, or corporate suites, but are only offered as “add-ons” to full-service large-scale event contracts. They are not offered for stand-alone rental.
