The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors.

Professional licensure ensures that individuals practice in a manner that protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public through minimum qualifications in education, work experience, and exams. The NCEES administers the Engineer & Land Surveyor’s Exam.
